Life Skills Coach- Fort Macleod
Wellness Through Living Society is looking for a Life Skills Coach that has the willingness to travel throughout Southern Alberta with an accountable and professional manner to our participants. We supply the project programming, resources, and welcome input/ feedback to programming. *THIS JOB WILL INVOLVE FREQUENT TRAVEL TO/FROM FORT MACLEOD*
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
CLOSING DATE: On- Going
START DATE: On- Ongoing
JOB DUTIES:
- Complete weekly reports on all participants and keep statistics. Including daily sign in sheets for participants.
- Drive and maintain and safe vehicle in a courteous manner.
- Upon arrival, introduce yourself to staff on behalf of the organization and get details of the facility and people you will be working with.
- Follow and be respectful of all facility rules and regulations.
- Organize the room/rooms so the participants feel comfortable and welcome.
- Complete an orientation at the beginning of group.
- Review the emergency procedures to the participants.
- Wear professional but comfortable clothing and footwear, you might be standing for an extended period.
- Participate in training set out by the organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Comply with the Mission Statement, By-laws, and the expectations of the organization.
- Must provide a clean criminal record check WITH a vulnerable sector check.
- Must be able to work away from home for periods of time during the week as we serviceall Southern Alberta.
- Class 5 License (non-GDL) with a 5-year clean drivers abstract.
- Proof of 2-million-dollar liability insurance on vehicle.
- Must provide proof of valid Life Skills Coach Certification.
- Knowledge of the Blackfoot language and traditions would be an asset.
- First-Aid Training would be an asset.
COMPENSATION: We provide a competitive rate of pay. Hours and rates of pay will be discussed at the interview.

Liaison Coordinator- Fort Macleod
Wellness Through Living Society is looking for a Liaison Coordinator that has the willingness to travel throughout Southern Alberta with an accountable and professional manner to our participants. We supply the project programming, resources, and welcome input/ feedback to programming. *THIS JOB WILL INVOLVE FREQUENT TRAVEL TO/FROM FORT MACLEOD*
REPORTS TO: Executive Director

START DATE: On- Ongoing
JOB DUTIES:
- Work with participants of various ages and career stages to help them manage their life, learning, and work.
- Work with local employers to arrange a 50- hour job placement for each of the participants.
- Work with the local Colleges and Universities to facilitate communication with participants who wish to attend post-secondary.
- Work with the court and justice system, child and family services, and other community agencies as needed to assist participants.
- Be prepared to do home visits if participants have not been attending and support court appearances with the participant in a professional manner.
- Help coordinate schedules, appointments and bookings along with the Life Skills Coach
- Complete weekly reports on all participants and keep statistics.

- Bachelors or Masters in Addictions, Psychology, Social Work, and or related field is preferred.
- Must provide a clean criminal record check WITH a vulnerable sector check.
- Must be able to work away from home for periods of time during the week as we service all Southern Alberta.
- Class 5 License (non-GDL) with 5-year clean drivers abstract.
- Proof of 2-million-dollar liability insurance on vehicle.
- Knowledge of the Blackfoot culture, language, and traditions (required).
- First-Aid Training would be an asset.
